Tell state legislators about the business-planning process and the factors that you consider when determining where to locate your company's facilities and/or operations, and make investments.  Explain to them that constantly putting business tax changes on the table and not solving the state's fiscal problems result in uncertainty. Let them know that inconsistency and unpredictability make it hard for you to include Connecticut in future plans.

Don't Price Jobs Out of Connecticut: Control Labor Costs to Put People Back to Work...

Connecticut has among the highest costs in the U.S. for hiring and maintaining a workforce. With costs still climbing and the national economy stalled, lawmakers must avoid imposing more employer mandates, unique employee benefits or tougher regulations ---- actions that will just make it harder for you to grow and retain jobs here. Tell legislators how harmful legislative proposals impact your ability to hire.
